Liberty Turned Components is Hiring a Janitor Near Milan, MI
- Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the facility.
- Stocks paper towels, hand sanitizer, hand soap, etc. in bathrooms and common areas.
- Picks up and empties trash containers.
- Performs minor repairs and maintenance such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes.
- Accountable for cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, break areas, and offices.
- Performs limited grounds maintenance
- Maintains a neat and orderly janitors’ room; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
- Keeps production floor free from scrap metal.
- Washes windows.
- Assists in examining workplace for safety hazards; reports deficiencies to Production Supervisor and Controller.
- Performs other related duties as assigned/as needed.
- Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
- Detail-oriented and thorough.
- Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.
- Ability to keep the facility clean and orderly.
- Ability to interact with other employees while remaining professional, polite, and courteous.
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prolonged periods standing.
