Liberty Software is Hiring an Insurance Specialist Near Grapevine, TX
Liberty Software is seeking a customer service champion and pharmacy professional with an expert-level of knowledge in insurance adjudication to join our Client Services team as an Insurance Specialist. Our Insurance Specialists act as our subject matter experts of insurance, and use their skills to assist Liberty Software’s customers in getting resolutions for all their insurance issues.
Liberty caters to a variety of pharmacies and as such is seeking an individual with an expansive knowledge in insurance adjudication. Liberty Software’s pharmacy customers often need assistance in billing individualized state Medicaid programs, Medicare Parts B and D, manufacturer assistance programs and more. Our Insurance Specialists strive for stellar service and will also reach out directly to insurance providers if a sufficient resolution cannot be reached by the pharmacy alone.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Operate as the first point of contact for incoming calls and tickets from pharmacy clients to provide prompt insurance resolutions
- Document each phone call and the actions performed in tracking software
- Communicate directly with insurance providers and switch companies on the pharmacy’s behalf
- Complete insurance requests and escalated insurance reviews in a timely manner
- Update and maintain Liberty Software’s master National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) format database
- Provide unmatched customer service in every client interaction
Qualifications:
- At least two years of pharmacy/pharmacy technician experience required, with three to five years being preferred
- Extensive experience in insurance adjudication
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) certification a plus
- Familiarity with independently owned pharmacies a plus
- Demonstrated ability to communicate by phone and email to members of client organizations and third-party companies such as insurance providers and pharmacy switches
- Proven ability to shift between multiple tasks as needed
- Strong attention to detail, as well as strong written and documentation skills
- Excellent listening and critical thinking skills
- Experience using Liberty Software products (RXQ, BZQ) a plus
- Basic computer skills and comfort learning new software products needed
