We are currently seeking a Full Time Recreation Therapist to join our enthusiastic team at The Hearth at Drexel! The Hearth at Drexel is a premier retirement community in Bala Cynwyd, PA. We take pride in our dedicated team members who support and care for our residents. Shift/Schedule Available:9:00am - 5:00pmMonday - Friday and every other weekendSome job responsibilities include: Provide household, personal care, and independent living community leadership to ensure that all residents have the opportunity on a daily basis to participate in Community Life (CL) programs designed to meet resident choice, offering constructive use of leisure time through planned activities and leisure counseling. Work with all household members to ensure that programs are designed to enhance physical, mental, religious, and social needs of residents.Provide opportunities to help residents remain a part of the outside community (trips out to the community–invite outside community in). Develop and provide educational programs for diverse interests of residents.
