Description
Position Summary: Driving specifications of HI-MACS (solid surfaces) and Viatera (quartz surfaces) and HFLOR in the Commercial Market using strategic methods throughout the commercial value chain including architectural and design firms (A&D firms), facility managers in addition to targeted end-users and national accounts. Identifying the key areas of growth in the market, presenting and conducting presentations of LX Hausys products through company sponsored presentations and sample distribution. Reporting and tracking projects utilizing SalesForce, ConstructConnect, and local resources.
Requirements
Qualifications: Listed below are the minimum and/or desired qualifications of the position including education, work experience and knowledge & skills that are required to perform satisfactorily in the position:
Education and Work Experience:
· Undergraduate degree in Design, Art, Business, or related field preferred but not required
· Direct experience working in the commercial arena for a minimum of 5 years
· Local commercial marketplace knowledge preferred
· Proven National Account management experience and business development experience in at least one of the following segments: Hospitality, Food Service, Retail, Entertainment, Recreation, Healthcare and or Education
· Team leader experience preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
· Excellent oral and written, communication, presentation and organization skills
· Excellent Microsoft office skills (excel, word, PowerPoint, outlook)
· CRM Experience, SalesForce preferred
· Excellent selling skills and strong commercial marketing knowledge
· The energy and focus to achieve goals and be results oriented
· Must be able to think and work independently
· Strong creative, analytical and interpersonal skills
· Proven skills working as part of a team
· Logistically savvy about territory management
· Ability to thrive within a team environment
· Proven time planning skills
· Understanding the basics of the commercial value chain and project tracking
· Proven Networking skills primarily through business associations. Associations include but are not limited to: CSI, IIDA, AIA, ASHE, AAHID, APPA, ACUHO, IFMA, BOMA, SAME, NAA
Physical Demands:
· Position requires regular interaction with customers and clients
· Position requires minimal lifting up to 50 lbs
· Position requires regular and reliable attendance
· Position requires 30% - 40% overnight travel in the territ
