BASIC FUNCTIONS: This position performs moderately difficult research, design and implement software applications, implementing automation frameworks using Java/Python and Selenium, building automation CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, building monitoring tools using ELK Stack, Grafana and Power BI. QUALIFICATIONS: • 6 years of Software Engineering experience • BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required TECHNICAL SKILLS: Excellent communicative, interpersonal, intuitive, analysis and leadership skills ability to work efficiency in both independent and teamwork environment. Hands on experience on Dockers, Kubernetes and Terraform is must. Experience with version control Systems i.e., GitHub Experience in building scripts using Apache ANT, Maven and Gradle to perform builds efficiency Hands on experience in implementing entire CI/CD using GitHub Actions Extensive hands-on experience with .yml file Experience in agile projects to delivering end to end continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline by integration tools like GitHub Actions, Azure or AWS. Hands on experience in containerization Experience in defect tracking systems like Jira Added advantage on Data science skills (AI and ML) Hands on experience with Python, Groovy and Java programming. Python/Java/.Net programming experience is must. Capable of supporting and managing multiple projects simultaneously, comfortable troubleshooting and debugging and able to work under pressure Proficiency with data manipulation languages. Understanding of data modeling principles. Ability to work with complex data models. Proficiency in development languages including but not limited to: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C , HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .Net. Familiarity of industry best practices — code coverage. Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources. Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity. Experience/kmowledge with monitoring tools such as ELK, Grafana and Power BI Knowledge/experience on test automation in UI and API layer. Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies, CI/CD implementation Experience with building UI automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with any modern programming language like Java/C#/Python added advantage Experience with Web Services testing using tools like ReadyAPI/Postman Advanced SQL knowledge (MySQL & SQL Server) Ability to complete moderately complex bug fixes. Good oral and written communications skills. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Interact with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements. Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity. Work closely with other QA & development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs. Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews. Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders. Resolve technical issues as necessary.
