LexisNexis Risk Solutions is Hiring a Compliance Manager Near Alpharetta, GA

Job Description: As part of the Regulatory Compliance Group (RCG), the Compliance Manager will contribute to RCG’s mission to facilitate compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and internal policies and procedures, and will work closely with local leadership teams. Accountabilities Interprets laws and government regulations affecting the operation of the organization. Implements policies and procedures to ensure organization compliance with regulations and regulatory reporting requirements. Provide training on matters relevant to compliance with rules and regulations. Investigates and resolves compliance problems and responds to questions from internal sources and regulatory agencies. Maintain compliance related policies and procedure and draft new policies and procedures as required. Partner with business units and support functions to assess and enhance 1st line of defense controls. Work cross functionally to ensure compliance requirements are managed and timely implemented. Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Manage, resolve, and escalate, as appropriate, issues to the Compliance lawyers. Identifies applications of functional knowledge and existing methodologies to complex problems. Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices. Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. Detail Oriented: Ensures that information is always reviewed and presented in a thorough and accurate manner. Analytical: Systematically gathers relevant information and applies it to logically solving problems and making decisions. Personal Leadership: Creates and communicates a compelling and inspiring vision or sense of core purpose. Initiative: Takes initiative and proactively manages workload and schedule. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required Minimum of 5-7 years’ related experience with 3-5 years in compliance, consulting, or internal/external audit preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills and experience. Fluent in Mandarin and English. Experience managing complex projects, including overseeing external vendors. Business-focused, collaborative and process oriented. Experience preferred in responding to regulatory examinations or investigations. Excellent writing skills and strong ability to communicate verbally with individuals who may be unfamiliar with complex legal issues. Excellent analytic and organizational skills. Strong time management and prioritization skills with a demonstrated ability to execute against multiple projects and excel in a fast-paced work environment. Demonstrate a general knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, industry trends, and Risk Solutions’ products and services. Ability to work with all levels within the organization, including cross-departmental teams and leadership. Skilled in industry research and benchmarking, performance assessments and development programs.
