Inventory Analyst - Coon Rapids, MN

Position Overview:

The primary function of the Inventory Analyst is to support accounting and manufacturing inventory processes. This position will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, monitoring inventory transactions, and reviewing inventory transaction discrepancies.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Develop and lead cycle counting process.

· Report inventory accuracy results to management and identify process improvement opportunities.

· Perform warehouse inventory counts, researching and reconciling discrepancies

· Work with plant personnel to ensure inventory transactions are recorded accurately.

· Maintain processes to confirm transactions in the ERP system, including errors in receiving, shipping, production, and reporting

· Develop and implement a process to review slow-moving/obsolete inventory. Work with management to determine the disposal process.

· Review and monitor the scrap disposal process

· Analyze and audit bill of material structure for manufactured goods

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Inventory control procedures and practices knowledge

· MRP/ERP Systems

· Detail-oriented and consistent.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel.

Education and Experience:

· Associates degree preferred

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of standing.

Experience:

· ERP systems: 1 year (Required)
