The Business Intelligence Analyst position involves designing, managing, and deploying data systems, reports, and dynamic dashboards, as well as training users in these systems and the use of reports. The Business Intelligence Analyst will also present analytic findings. This position is responsible for analyzing data from multiple sources, cleaning data, validating data, and conducting root cause analysis.
Performs quality control checks on diverse data sets related to programs.
Acts in a collaborative function to research, design, data collection, data cleaning, interpretation, and presentation.
Works with key stakeholders to identify reporting needs, defines the reporting requirements, designs the report, and configures the tools required to deliver the report.
Analyzes data and provides insights and recommendations for organizational planning and operations. Creates business analytics by synthesizing information from multiple sources of data for business decisions and strategic planning.
Manages consolidation of complex data into meaningful information systems.
Leads the development of business rules to guide data system design, data collection, and data analysis.
Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality, seamless customer service to both business users and IT counterparts.
Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes to data systems. Develop systems test plan components and test scripts.

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
