Level Ex is looking for an experienced Art Director to join our team and carve out a new genre of medical games.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with Art Department leads and directors to set the visual style for our products
• Oversee the art team during production and ensure production goals are being met
• Grow your team and department by participating in recruiting, development and other growth related activities
• Mentor the art team, transforming them into an efficient and talented creative force
• Review and provide high-level feedback and guidance on all aspects of Level Ex products
• Establish best practices, and documentation for different projects
• Participate in studio leadership discussions around values, culture, and team development

What You'll Bring

• 8 years in recent game development creating 3D content
• At least 2 years of experience in an Art Director role
• 3 year in building, managing and developing teams
• Highly motivated artist with a deep interest in video games, anatomy and science
• Portfolio showcasing experience in leadership roles creating and directing video game art
• Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal
• Experience hiring and building a team of different disciplines
• Ability to inspire team members, mentor growing artists, and enhance relationships within the Art Department
• Deep familiarity with industry art pipelines - understanding common problems and solutions for asset creation
