Level 10 Construction is Hiring a Training Coordinator Near Sunnyvale, CA

The Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, arranging, and coordinating the delivery of a wide range of training programs, to include class enrollment scheduling, assigning instructors, records management, and other activities associated with the development, planning and delivery of training and human resources departmental needs. The Training Coordinator ensures the availability of speakers, consultants, facilities, catering, and materials for programs conducted by the training department. The Training Coordinator reports directly to the VP of Operations/Human Resources Director.

Job Responsibilities includes (but may not be limited to):

  • Plans, arranges, and coordinates the delivery of a wide range of training programs
  • Ensures proper materials and equipment are available to achieve training goals and objectives
  • Designs, develops, updates, and packages training course materials, including online courses
  • Coordinates and schedules training programs based on the availability of classrooms, course materials, and instructors
  • Arranges facilities for company and department off-site meetings and coordinate with the facility managers regarding room configuration, audio-visual equipment, and meals
  • Works with HR on the planning and coordination of the bi-annual Executive Off-site and annual Manager Off-site meetings.
  • Lead annual training calendar coordination meetings and goal setting with department leaders
  • Assist with developing training curriculum based on each position’s specific needs
  • Responsible for working with managers in setting up training awards and recognition programs
  • Coordinates training schedules with various departments
  • Acts as company administrator for all aspects of employee training records
  • Day of training early set-up and breakdown
  • Prepare hand-outs and give a ways as gathered from presenters
  • Attendance at and assistance provided during actual training
  • Ensure A/V is set up and functional at start of trainings
  • Create, print, and distribution of signage
  • Follow through on invoicing from vendors, venues,
  • Maintains course evaluation forms and data collection
  • Assist Safety department with the coordination and planning of monthly Safety Breakfast meetings
  • Coordinates catering & refreshments as for classes as required
  • Orders training supplies when needed
  • Coordinate go to meetings for Vista Self-Paced Tutorial for New Employees monthly
  • Work with HR to track certifications in LMS
  • Assisting with the expansion of the training program to the San Diego region
  • Assist in planning of annual company picnic and holiday event
  • Back up-front desk coverage
  • Assist HR team with administrative duties
  • Other duties upon request

Qualifications:

  • Must be detailed oriented. Utilizes excellent written and oral communications
  • Ability to build and establish rapport with employees and instructors
  • Exercises creativity and resourcefulness in completing tasks accurately in a compressed timeframe
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision, including training venues outside the office
  • Proficient skill level with MS Office, Outlook and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of construction-related software system, inDesign or similar is a plus
  • 3 years’ experience

  • Duties required physical abilities such as repetitive hand and finger motion, sitting, standing, walking, as well as extending hands and arms in work
  • The individual is required to occasionally move around the office and constantly operate a computer and

other office machinery, etc.
