THE POSITION

QuoteWizard by LendingTree is a best in industry collaboration of customer acquisition and matching of the consumer to the best insurance product for the consumer at that moment and throughout the consumer’s lifecycle. The Manager of Email Marketing will be responsible for the creation, execution and measurement of both customer and prospect-facing email marketing communications strategy, covering a portfolio consisting of demand generation and customer retention efforts. This role will work with various stake holders cross-functionally to drive campaign performance through innovative marketing strategy, email design and copy. The Manager will help define the company’s audience targeting strategy, testing methodology, ISP attachment, optimization and measurement of email marketing effectiveness. Additionally, the Manager will assist in the development of omnichannel tools, processes, framework, and attachments to further best practices within the Email Marketing department, as well as delivering innovative email marketing programs while maintaining deliverability and IP management. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead email marketing campaign execution including targeting, segmentation, test/control design, workflow builds, lead nurture or drip campaigns, campaign reporting and analytics
• Drive continued optimization and evolution of our email marketing programs, including retention & transactional campaigns, lifecycle/life event trigger programs, and large-scale campaigns that drive meaningful business growth & customer retention
• Be well-versed in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (our email platform) and find opportunities to automate where possible
• Analyze user behavior, design, and implement A/B testing to continuously improve email campaign KPIs
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Media, Sales, and Analytics to develop programs to increase revenue growth and improve customer lifetime value
• Measure, analyze, and report on campaign performance; 
• Apply actionable insights to improve efficiency and performance of marketing efforts
• Stay on top of industry trends of the overall insurance market
• Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database

Qualifications: 

• 4-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
• Proven 4 years of work experience with Email Marketing, Marketing management, or a similar role in the Marketing Department, preferably in a B2C Marketing Organization
• Experience in HTML, specifically pertaining to troubleshooting email formatting issues
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is required
• Working knowledge of advanced email and digital marketing trends 
• Experience in email deliverability/inboxing methodology and IP management
• Ability to work with highly technical cross-functional teams and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with MessageBird/Sparkpost is a plus.
