The VP of Finance will oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing. They will also build and mentor the Finance and Accounting team through the implementation of systems, processes, internal controls, and policies.

What you’ll do:

• Demonstrate strong financial stewardship. Direct resource allocation, monitor company expenditures and help review and negotiate customer and vendor agreements.
• Oversee internal and external financial reporting. Work with the company’s external CPA firm on tax and compliance matters and help set and implement accounting policies.
• Partner with division heads to implement processes, frameworks and systems that allow the company to capture and utilize timely and accurate data across the business to make better decisions. Be the leader in the definition and reporting on key company operational metrics.
• Provide support on various operational tasks including P&L, BS and financial projections, valuation models and company presentations.
• Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company.
• Review financial reports for ways to improve operational efficiency, GPM while maintaining aggressive revenue and ARR growth.
• Work closely with company executives to develop strategic plans. 
• · Assist the CEO and help drive effective board meetings as well as manage communications with the board of directors and current and potential investors.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities you have:

• ·Serving as a VP of Finance, Director of Finance, or Controller for a SaaS company. A leader who will own the full spectrum of finance responsibilities.
• Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting.
• Budget management, public accounting, and cash flow.
• Developing and tracking key operational metrics across the business which enable continuous management of company performance.
• GAAP accounting and investor diligence. Including raising and managing debt.
• Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Proven negotiation skills.
• Ability to operate under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for building.
• Flexible, operationally focused. A capable leader that will be a strong partner to the executive team and an excellent mentor and coach to a growing Accounting and Finance team.

What you need: 

• 10 years of experience in a leadership position at a SaaS company.
• SaaS: 5 years.
• BA or MBA in accounting or finance or a related field required.
• Advanced degree or CPA desired.
• Background in publicly traded and/or VC/PE-backed companies preferred.
