A DevOps Engineer at LenderClose works on an empowered team that focuses on fixing problems. They collaborate with product teams to take full advantage of cloud offerings (AWS) and enable teams to operate independently in the cloud. DevOps engineers seek to enable teams with tools such as policy as code, shared libraries and infrastructure, artifact repositories, CI/CD and more.

Essential Functions:

• Mentor Software engineers in design, implementation, and best practices in the cloud.
• Have accountability that code reviews get completed in a timely manner and result in deeper learning for other software engineers on the solutions the team produces.
• Collaborate in defining the coding standards and advocate for those standards. Contribute to tooling that automatically enables standards to be kept.
• Create and maintain shared infrastructure such as networks, CI/CD steps, artifact repositories, policy as code tooling, golden base container images, and libraries.
• Assist in development of highly available and scalable architectures.
• Create, maintain, and teach standards related to monitoring/logging/observability.
• Help to optimize development and release processes company wide, enable fast, reliable, and secure releases.
• Document development processes for auditors, automate documentation and auditing processes as much as possible.
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.

Technology requirements are that you are proficient in AWS, Terraform, Cloudformation, Containers, Python, Node JS, Unix.
