Join our team! Leland Management is seeking a Communications Coordinator for one of its HOA communities in the Brevard area. The position is part-time.
This position will be responsible for providing communications and administrative support at the Heritage Isle Clubhouse. This position is on-site and requires the ability to work at least two weekends a month.
Requirements
• This position is responsible for the coordination and performance of detailed communication and administrative responsibilities for 1,606 homeowners.
• This position is also responsible for assisting with writing, compiling, and proofreading (including employee’s own copy and that of others) various documents to ensure correct spelling, grammar, accuracy, and effectiveness.
• The employee must manage multiple assigned projects to deliver timely, high-quality work.
• Writing, development, formatting, review, and maintenance of informational, error-free website content for multiple associations ensuring consistent core messaging.
• Writing and development of content for all HOA communications to owners including, but not limited to, e-blasts and monthly newsletters.
• Assist in the development and management of the association’s communications calendar.
• Assist in the coordination of the printing and emailing of these communication pieces.
• Assist with answering phones, opening mail, assisting clients, and the processing of applications and work orders. Work directly with property managers, Board members, and owners.
• Position requires patience and the need to be sensitive to owners’ and guests’ needs while having a strong ability to manage stressful situations.
• Ability to multi-task on a variety of levels.
• Perform other related duties and department functions as assigned.
• Minimum of two years of administrative experience.
• High school graduate or other equivalent (e.g. GED, college, technical, or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or another relevant area of study is preferred.
• Process oriented, self-motivated, high level of organization with exceptional attention to details.
• Must be a self-starter working in a fast-paced office who can frequently work independently and regularly take the initiative to undertake projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proven computer skills (including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) with the ability to learn new systems and software.
• Experience managing multiple projects successfully in a cross-functional team environment.
