Machine Learning Engineer

Job Objective

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer who will help develop Leia Inc’s current and next-gen display products.

Job Responsibilities

As a ML Engineer within the Computer Vision group, you will be working on camera imaging, computational photography, and computer vision. In this role you will be responsible for prototyping, developing, and integrating cutting-edge imaging and computational photography technologies. You will be working closely with Hardware and Software teams.

Key Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3 years of software development, imaging, and ML experience.
• Good knowledge of Python and working knowledge of C/C .
• Familiarity with multiple-camera systems and 3D geometry.
• Experience with open-source vision packages such as OpenCV.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as pyTorch, TensorFlow or similar
• Experience with data collection in the lab, sensor (and multi-sensor) calibration
• Experience with commercial software development processes: good software hygiene regarding code documentation, unit testing, bug tracking, and version control.
• Highly motivated, team player with strong technical collaboration skills and desire to learn quickly and develop new skills.

Preferable Skills

• Experience with GPU/DSP model optimization.
• Experience with Lightfield technology
• Experience with stereo vision, photogrammetry, computational photography, generative networks or related tasks
• Experience with Java, Android, and/or Javascript
• Publications relevant to Computer Vision and/or Deep Learning
