Cadman Materials is currently looking for a responsible, safe, and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our local team. As a Dump Truck Driver you are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of aggregate materials around our quarries and pits.

What You Will Get to Do:
Operate the haul truck to transport rock products to the plant and stockpiles as directed
Utilize equipment in a manner to maximize productivity and minimize wear and down time
Report mechanical or maintenance issues with equipment
Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures; perform daily equipment inspections, as well as identify and assist in correcting unsafe condition
Who We Are Looking For:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Class A CDL with no manual restriction required
2 years prior haul truck (or other large mobile equipment) experience preferred
Previous experience in open pit mining operations and aggregate products is an asset
Able to work inside and outside in year-round weather conditions
Ability to work different extended hours, holidays and/or overtime required.
Experience following company policies and procedures.
Knowledge of driving laws in the safe operation of a dump truck is required.
Experience with preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections is an asset.
Must be able to effectively communicate with the dispatch office, safely follow directions, and promptly deliver in an efficient manner.
Report any deviations from the norm that might impact product quality or processing efficiencies.
Weigh truck and properly log weight of material hauled as required.
The successful candidate will have a proven safety record as well as a history of being a team player.
Must be able to work without direct supervision
