Cadman Materials is currently looking for a responsible, safe, and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our local team. As a Dump Truck Driver you are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of aggregate materials around our quarries and pits.

What You Will Get to Do:

• Operate the haul truck to transport rock products to the plant and stockpiles as directed

• Utilize equipment in a manner to maximize productivity and minimize wear and down time

• Report mechanical or maintenance issues with equipment

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures; perform daily equipment inspections, as well as identify and assist in correcting unsafe condition

Who We Are Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Class A CDL with no manual restriction required

• 2 years prior haul truck (or other large mobile equipment) experience preferred

• Previous experience in open pit mining operations and aggregate products is an asset

• Able to work inside and outside in year-round weather conditions

• Ability to work different extended hours, holidays and/or overtime required.

• Experience following company policies and procedures.

• Knowledge of driving laws in the safe operation of a dump truck is required.

• Experience with preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections is an asset.

• Must be able to effectively communicate with the dispatch office, safely follow directions, and promptly deliver in an efficient manner.

•  Report any deviations from the norm that might impact product quality or processing efficiencies.

• Weigh truck and properly log weight of material hauled as required.

• The successful candidate will have a proven safety record as well as a history of being a team player.
