Provide reception and/or clerical support for the human resource department. Responsible for a wide variety of general office duties to include file maintenance, scheduling, data entry, and telephone activity. Role entails significant interaction with others and the ability to communicate basic human resource information to all customers. Mix of job responsibilities may vary with job location and departmental function.
Education: A minimum of a High School diploma is required, related college courses preferred.
Experience: A minimum of two years of general office experience preferably in an HR office environment with exposure to automated record keeping systems, benefits plan administration, salary administration, employment procedures and HR policies. Knowledge of and experience with general office equipment, telephone systems, personal computer software and database applications.
Skills: Requires excellent organizational, written and verbal communication and customer service skills to be able to interact effectively with all internal and external customers. Requires tact and diplomacy skills to relate to a broad spectrum of personnel and members of the community. Attention to detail and follow through.
