Provides comprehensive data management consultation for determining data collection methodology, design and maintenance of data collection systems, data analysis and reporting. Collects, analyzes and displays performance data to assist in attaining system-wide and departmental goals and objectives, including quality improvement, process improvement, cost reduction/containment activities customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience: Experienced user of Access, Excel, statistical software packages, query reporting, and report specification development strongly preferred.Experience with continuous quality improvement, outcomes management, customer satisfaction, and regulatory standards for information management strongly preferred. Prefer knowledge of available data systems within Legacy Health, particularly those specific to assigned department. Clinical experience in relevant area may be preferred.
Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and customer-support skills.In-depth knowledge of data-management software applications, query applications, report development and application development.Ability to systematically trouble-shoot application problems and coordinate resolution.Ability to maintain complete documentation of applications and application processes.
