Leevers is Hiring a Commerce City Save A Lot KEY HOLDER Near Commerce, CO

The Key Holder directs the daily activities of store team members in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers during assigned shifts. The Key Holder is responsible for store operations by opening and closing the store when scheduled, protecting store property and funds, and monitoring employee performance during assigned shifts. The Key Holder assists the store management team in maintaining store conditions, quality, and safety, security, and sanitation programs. The Key Holder is responsible for excellent customer service. Accomplishes all job duties in accordance with Save A Lot policies and procedures. When a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is present, the employee performs the duties as outlined in their primary job description.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for opening and closing the store according to established proceduresDirects and monitors the day-to-day activities of full time/part time store team membersCommunicates with customers in a friendly and courteous mannerResolves customer complaints, including exchanges and refundsDocuments complaints and takes follow-up steps to correct the source of the complaintConducts front end administrative procedures, including cash counting, till preparation, cash drops, cash pick-ups, verification of cash tills, and sale of/return of gift cardsCompletes electronic store reports and conducts bag/video checks and reports results to Store ManagerPerforms cashier duties when necessaryEscalates employee issues, such as disciplinary action, cash discrepancies, attendance, and performance, significant customer complaints to Store Manager or District ManagerResponds promptly to vendors, including receiving loads / deliveriesStocks within all departmentsEnsures the store is operating in compliance with Save A Lot standards for health and safetyHandles emergency management, such as evacuation procedures, appropriatelyProtects company property, funds and merchandise alwaysEnsures that loss prevention procedures are followed dailyResponsible for store sanitation and completing sweep logs during assigned shiftServes as first contact for media and regulatory visitors and refers contact to Store ManagerMay participate in the panel interviewing process, but does not have authority to make hiring decisionsPerforms other duties, including working in other departments, as assignedAbout YouHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredComprehensive product knowledge and the ability to train other meat team membersPrevious training / supervisory experience a plusCompany work history will be strongly considered, including attendance, work performance, safety, policy compliance and performance managementProficiency in basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisionMust be able to read, write and speak in EnglishDemonstrate effective oral and written communication, interpersonal skillsLanguage proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plusMust be dependable and flexibleAbility to travel to multiple work locationsExcellent customer service, teamwork and problem-solving skillsMust adhere to uniform dress code
