The Times News has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Circulation District Manager Assistant. This position supports our home delivery team’s goal of providing superior customer service to our customers. The District Manager Assistant will work an early morning schedule at a distribution center or in the field performing some or all of the following tasks: • Assisting with the delivery of newspapers.• Checking addresses for previous delivery issues.• Organizing and distributing daily paperwork.• Staging newspaper bundles to distributors.• Operating a computer to print reports.• Communicating and following up with managers. This as a part time position, 15 - 20 hours per week. Shifts are typically four mornings, between the hours of 12:00 AM and 5:00 AMThe position requires good communication skills, the ability to prioritize and handle a variety of tasks, basic computer skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform door-to-door deliveries.
