We are looking to for a tenured Project Accountant with five years of experience for this remote, temp-to-hire position with one of our quickly growing clients! Please see the responsibilities and qualifications listed below:
Responsibilities:

• Monitoring project performance by reviewing budgets and forecasting potential overruns, creating and maintaining project accounts in the accounting system using established procedures, maintaining work-in-process folders and files for all projects
• Setting up and closing out projects in the ERP system
• Assisting project managers with billing issues, receipts and budgets and communicating with the project manager as needed
• Preparing invoices
• Compiling information for internal and external auditors and contributing to staff trainings

Qualifications:

• A bachelors' degree in Accounting or Finance
• Five to seven years of Project Accounting experience
• Experience assisting in producing accurate and timely financial statements
• Proficiency in Ajera or other job cost accounting software
• Competency in reading/reviewing contracts
