A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AUTOMATION ENGINEER

As an entry-level automation engineer, your work helps to keep our production staff working efficiently and safely. You assist with the electrical and mechanical installation of robots and machines. You program robots, cameras, controllers, and interfaces. You design and develop robotic applications and automated processes. Not only do you design, but you also build electrical cabinets, fixtures, actuators, structures, and stands for robots and machines. You drive continual improvement of foundry and machine shop operations. You are eager to learn and develop your skills as an industrial automation engineer!

AUTOMATION ENGINEER QUALIFICATIONS
