We are seeking a sharp, high energy Host/Brand Ambassador for our Lebanese Taverna location at Reagan National Airport . This individual will present a positive first impression of the establishment’s friendliness, excellent service and high standards. Principal duties and responsibilities include:

• Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned checkout area and present menus.
• Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service as needed.
• Be attentive to Guests’ needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service.
• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol control policies.
• Issue dining charges by verifying orders before submitting; and totaling bill for to-go orders as needed.
• Receive payments by validating credit charges; approving checks; accepting currency; calculating and issuing change for to-go orders.
• Reconcile cash drawer by proving cash transactions; listing credit card charges for to-go orders as warranted.

Experience and other requirements:

• 6 months experience in a full-service or QSR restaurant preferred.
• Read and speak English.
• A desire to help out where needed and work as part of a team.
• Passion for providing extraordinary service.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Upbeat, outgoing and positive.
• High level of customer service skills.
• A great deal of smiling and a love of food!
• Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time and lift/move up to 25 lbs.
