Responsibilities

The Director of Clinical Operations will oversee and manage all assigned programs and will beresponsible for program operations, development, finances, personnel, governing policies andprocedures. This position will oversee and direct the development of clinical programming,which includes supervision of the clinical team and client treatment plans. The Director isresponsible for defining and executing the clinical direction and vision of the program/s tosupport all identified service lines, including continual staff development. This position willdevelop, teach and model a series of “best practices” that is state of the art in the brain injuryrehabilitation business.

Clinical Operations:● Uphold Learning Service’s mission and business objectives by demonstratingprofessionalism and maturity in work behavior, ethical conduct, sound judgment, andpersonal integrity● Excel at building relationships, communicating effectively and working collaboratively withothers to achieve company goals and work performance objectives● Continue to develop leadership skills through participation in Collage leadership retreats● Evaluate and implement policies and procedures, regulations, laws and licensing related tohuman resources, facilities, health and safety and maintain speciality accreditations (CARF)and clinical effectiveness● Create and model an organizational culture which encourages others to provide anexceptional quality of service to obtain high performance and operational excellence● Ensure productive resolution of conflict; recognize different viewpoints; bring conflict intothe open and encourage those involved to find appropriate solutions● Oversee scheduling of all staff to ensure adequate coverage to meet program staffingratios, client treatment needs and any other scheduled activities, including “on call”coverage● Supervise and manage all staff including therapists, nurses and Case Managers, OperationsManager, support staff and LSTs in their areas of roles and responsibilities utilizing bestclinical and operations practices● Participate and ensure interviewing and hiring process, orientation and training of all stafffor all direct hire positions● Coordinate the admission process with Director of Admissions● Perform Pre-Admission Screenings and write reports promptly● Manage program development (who runs groups and trains/supervises staff in curriculaused in groups) in designated programs and for the company as a whole● Meet regularly with the Vice President of Clinical Operations to discuss program,personnel, budget, client and company issues● Submit payroll weekly; maintain accurate records of staff vacation, personal and sick time● Develop and monitor annual budget in collaboration with VP of Clinical Operations

Client Care Management:● Oversee and facilitate preadmission, admission, clinical direction and management of eachclient's program● Direct provision of therapy specialty to programs when appropriate● Finalize and execution of all reports, including clinical integrity, necessary signatures onassessments, reports and treatment plan● Monitor clients’ treatment plans and progress towards goals and revision of treatmentplans and goals as necessary● Coordinate all consulting physicians and medically-related services (pharmacy, DME,clinical contractors, etc.) and ensure they meet clinical/medical/qualitative needs incollaboration with Case Manager● Remain current on critical documentation, reimbursement, and coding issues and orindustry accepted practices● Ensure the programs are equipped to handle a variety of medical, nursing, and clinicalneeds and provide ongoing direction, training, and support

Quality Management:● Ensure the program is in compliance with all applicable licensure, accreditation andcertification standards and work with program leadership to ensure implementation ofgoverning regulations and standards (CARF, State Licensing)● Monitor and ensure the timely submission of all required documentation by designatedstaff (e.g., monthly client billing session notes, log notes and monthly progress notes)● Ensure consistent interpretation of and compliance with all policies and procedures byusing the policy and procedures manual, personnel manual, medical and emergencyprocedures handbook, and other related materials as resources.● Implement quality assessment systems utilizing identified trackers and measurementtools, and reporting data outcomes for program evaluation and development● Complete “walkthroughs” of all programs, offices, properties, and vehicles to ensureadequate functioning, cleanliness, maintenance, health and safety.

Qualifications

Requirements:● License and/or advanced degree in clinical management, PT/OT/ST, nursing, mentalhealth, behavior or rehabilitation● 5 years experience in brain injury or related neuro rehabilitation preferred● Superior planning, organizational, writing, speaking and time management skills● Excellent leadership, supervisory skills, communication skills, and proven administrativeskills required● Exceptional verbal and written communication skills● Exceptional clinical skills as shown by the ability to resolve crisis situations, evaluateclient needs, formulate and monitor treatment● Experience managing program operations including budget, facilities management,policies and procedures and regulations

Learning Services offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including, health,dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k) with a match.

The base pay for this position has a range of $105,000 - $115,000. If we were to proceed with an offer, there are many factors taken into consideration including: your skills, qualifications, experience and more. This range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
