Leading Financial Advisory Firm is Hiring a Client Service Associate Near Newton, MA

Jonathan D. Pond, LLC, a long-established financial advisory firm located in Newton, MA, is seeking a Client Service Associate to join our growing team. We are an independent, fee-only investment advisor and financial planning firm that has always put our clients’ interests above our own. Our clients are mostly higher net worth families and many have been with our firm for decades. We are motivated and inspired by the relationships we have built with these multi-generational clients and their families, and pride ourselves in putting transparency and candor with clients at the forefront of all we do. As a small business, we each wear many hats but work as a tight-knit team. We are excited for someone with the same mindset and energy to join us as a full-time CSA.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Starting salary of $60,000 – $70,000, based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Respond and execute on client requests
  • Draft and handle all custodial paperwork for clients
  • Assist in the maintenance of the firm’s record-keeping and document management system (Laserfiche)
  • Provide administrative support, as needed, to the team
  • Coordinate client meetings and vendor scheduling, including in-person and video meetings
  • Follow-up and document work items as appropriate in our CRM (Tamarac)
  • Contribute to growing team with a goal of improving efficiency and client care
  • Assist where needed – we are a small team

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in client service role at a financial advisory firm
  • Interest in financial planning
  • Experience with web-based CRM or other similar client service software
  • Proficiency with MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook a must
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn to navigate various web-based platforms
  • Positive, energetic, friendly, and service-oriented
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to follow procedures, ask questions, and see tasks and projects through to completion

Qualified candidates will start the process by having a 15-30 minute zoom interview conducted by our consultant (who is the hiring manager for this position). If there is cause to move forward, you will be asked to fill out a Career History Form and, if you are selected to advance further in the process, you will then meet with the firm. Qualified candidates may also be asked to take proficiency assessments.
