Hiring Range: $83,770.00 - $104,710.00 PLEASE NOTE: The hiring range applies to US-based employment and may be higher in certain US geographic locations. To improve our top customer experience metric for Known, Loved, and Connected, you will be responsible for owning, leading, and supporting the technology enablement efforts of the Supporter Journey / Next Best Step and Target Potential Supporter value streams -and other value streams as assigned- and provides leadership to an Agile team of software engineers focused on Communications to our USA based Supporters. You will develop product management strategy for assigned technology products or product categories throughout the full product life cycle. In addition, you will coordinate with the Digital Experience and Supporter Experience teams in the Marketing division as well as Solutions Engineering and Solutions Architecture from Information Technology to provide a combination of product management (assessing performance and making recommendations to improve it) and product development (leading product development initiatives) responsibilities. PLEASE NOTE: This is a remote, US-based position. What will you do? Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer. Act as an advocate to raise awareness of the needs of children. Understand Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commit to and prioritize child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abide by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Report any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately support responses to incidents if they occur. Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors. Build and cultivate strong relationships with Business Owners and Stakeholders and gain deep understanding of their vision and strategy. Coordinate product management efforts to meet customer expectations. This includes contributing to the development of product strategy, product definition and messaging, and product KPIs. Coordinate the implementation of technology product initiatives including improvements of existing products or development of new products. Define, maintain, and communicate the product roadmap. Write Epics and Features that translate business needs into clear and manageable “chunks of work” to ensure that the Voice of the Customer and the value of the product enhancement or launch is understood by the Product Owner and Agile Team Manage and prioritize the technology Product Backlog based on business and customer impact. Work closely with cross-functional leaders and teams to manage dependencies and deliver solutions according to agreed objectives. Ensure business readiness for releases and communicate needs and expectations of releases to Product Owners. Measure actual feature outcome against benefit hypothesis. Provide general status updates to Business Owners, IT leadership, and other stakeholders. Act as a proxy in helping define the business need for new technologies and partner with IT Business Solutions to provide the business perspective and requirements for RFP. What do you bring? Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or another relevant field Seven years of relevant experience Customer-centric mindset Strong problem solving and analytical skills Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred, but not required: Experience in direct marketing (i.e., customer engagement and revenue generating strategies) Customer retention strategies Experience in standing a customer data platform Non-profit fundraising Experience working in an Agile environment Technical/IT proficiency SAFe certification Why work here?
