We are seeking Primary Care Pharmaceutical Representatives as we build upcoming teams for our clients. The Primary Care Pharmaceutical Sales Representative has overall responsibility for meeting or exceeding sales expectations within their assigned geographies in an ethical and compliant manner. The sales Representative is responsible for understanding and identifying customer needs, aligning resources, and supporting pull-through activities. The Primary Care Sales Representative will develop superior product and disease state knowledge that allows them to compliantly engage in in-depth clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals. Additionally, they will have responsibility for the creation of local strategic and tactical plans, effective application of budget and expense management within their assigned territory. The successful Primary Care Representative has tenacity for results, ability to adapt and evolve, and a hunger for working in an energizing and winning culture. Job Responsibilities Following compliance guidelines, drive sales performance to ensure sales forecasts are met or exceeded within assigned territory by calling on HCP offices both in person and virtually Effectively use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives Customize discussions and client interactions based upon customers’ needs in a compliant and ethical manner Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures evolving customers and key influencers Provide input into resource allocation and decision across customers/region Identify and selects programs/resources available and appropriate for each customer, practice, and/or system Work with Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives Capitalize on business opportunities through effective implementation of teams strategic plan Collaborates with other Primary Care Sales Representatives on common objectives and sharing best practices Provide timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication, and expense reporting Effectively inform and build a business plan based upon customer business needs, resources, and products Complete all company and job-related training and certification as required and within the required timelines Education and Experience: BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university required 2 years of documented successful sales experience in pharmaceuticals would be a plus Ideal candidates are newer in their overall pharmaceutical sales career 1-5 years experience range advantageous Must have a strong sense of self-motivation, initiative, excellent decision-making judgement with a very strong work ethic and desire to succeed High integrity and always working in accordance with the companies compliance policies and procedures needed The ability and willingness to travel including some overnights if needed. The percentage of travel will depend upon territory size Willing to work hours including meetings scheduled outside of normal working hours Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position The ability to be agile and adapt to the changing telemedicine/virtual environment Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress against objectives Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to a diverse customer audience Proof of Covid Vaccine at time of hire is required Strong meeting platform experience-Zoom, TEAMS, etc. Excellent computer skills including PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Office etc. Required Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required Successfully complete all client training and certification required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: High learning agility Sales focused Patient centric Demonstrate ethical and strong compliance focus to work in a regulated industry Strong business and clinical acumen Tenacious and resilient Good organizational and planning skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Strong focus on providing customers with superior support and service Developed rapport building and active listening skills.
