LDV, Inc. is Hiring an Electrical Engineering Technician Near Burlington, WI

Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Electrical Engineering Technician to assist in the design, development, documentation, programming, and testing of electrical and electronic systems such as automated control and monitoring, radio and satellite communications, audio/video, phone, and computer networks. This individual will also help in product evaluation and testing, and using measuring and diagnostic devices to adjust, test, and repair equipment.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Design and documentation of:
  • 120/240Vac and 12VDC Power Distribution Systems
  • Device Control Systems (slide-out rooms, leveling jacks, awnings, etc.)
  • Audio/Video Systems
  • Computer Networks
  • Radio Communication Systems
  • Vehicle Automation Systems
  • Logic and HMI programming and testing for LDV’s custom vehicle automation system.
  • Test electronic components and systems for proper operation.
  • Review existing systems and evaluate for safety and adequacy.
  • Write standard operating procedures for components and systems.
  • Train customers on-site or off-site at their location.
  • Serve as a technical resource for the Sales, Service, and Production.

Requirements

This position requires a unique and talented individual:

  • Associate’s degree and/or 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Experience with computer applications including AutoCAD and Excel.
  • Programming experience preferred.
  • Experience with vehicles and electronics/communications equipment is a plus.
