Marketing Specialist - Campaigns

Position Summary

The Marketing Specialist – Campaigns is responsible for coordinating with other marketing and sales professionals to implement innovative campaigns for branding or product launches. Their duties include researching target audiences, analyzing campaign results, and working with the sales team to plan and execute campaigns.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Overseeing email campaign execution via marketing automation platform, including maintaining lists, setting up email templates, testing landing pages, creating segmentation/automation rules, and conducting A/B tests
  • Reporting on and evaluating success of campaigns when completed, and based on assessment, providing recommendations on how to improve results
  • Writing compelling email copy for campaigns with the goal of increased click-through rates and conversions
  • Supporting communication efforts directed towards clients and users, including feature updates, event invitations, and new product announcements
  • Supporting advertising and communication programs designed to promote products and/or generate brand awareness
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing team members to fully understand products and communication requirements in order to successfully execute campaigns
  • Assigning inbound web and event leads to various sales teams
  • Conducting research and data analysis and brainstorming new ideas for marketing campaigns

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or related field
  • 1-3 years experience in Marketing
  • Experience with marketing automation software required. Experience with Pardot preferred
  • Experience with CRM software required. Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google PPC, and SEO principles preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Salary Range

CA Marketing Specialist range is $25.00 to $28.85 per hour.

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

Work Environment 

This position can perform its duties from our Orange, CA office, with the ability to work hybrid part-time, once training is complete. This position operates in a professional office environment and role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, mobile devices, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Requirements 

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; frequently required to talk and hear, use hands and fingers to type, scroll and use computer equipment. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection of text/data in both print and electronic forms. Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds. 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work 

This is a full-time non-exempt position. Days/hours worked are dependent on the workload at the time. General availability and presence in the office is expected during regular business hours 8am – 5pm Monday-Friday. However, some flexibility is allowed. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel 

Infrequent travel may be necessary to visit clients, travel to other LCPtracker office(s), attend conferences/industry events, etc. Attendance at our corporate Staff Retreat is required. This event is a 2-3-day retreat. Attendance at our annual User Conference and regional seminars as assigned.
