Position Summary
As Associate Product Manager, you will play a key role in the development of the next generation of LCPtracker’s core product, which will be the catalyst to accelerating our company’s already-rapid growth. You are a natural problem solver with a passion for solving complex challenges by blending your analytic skills with your creativity to deliver value to customers. You will become an expert of your products while growing your knowledge of product management practices and the construction labor compliance industry.

Duties/Responsibilities
Work with Product Managers, Agile Leads, UX Designers, Developers and QA Analysts to develop product features that delight users
Contribute to a backlog of user stories that support the development of our next-generation core product
Document and design business system processes
Generate and socialize product reporting for data-driven decisioning
Leverage market research, customer feedback and competitive analysis to identify opportunities to improve your products
Collaborate with other product managers to ensure alignment across products
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Client Services to implement go-to-market plans
Education and Experience:
3 years of experience in business analyst, technical client services or software development roles at B2B software companies
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications or a related field
Experience working with software development teams
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity and experience with Agile development principles
Track record of assembling qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate the goals of a product or feature to internal stakeholders
Desire to develop a career in product management
Experience in certified payroll or labor regulatory compliance a plus
Pragmatic Certified preferred
Certified Scrum Product Owner preferred
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment and role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, mobile devices, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; frequently required to talk and hear, use hands and fingers to type, scroll and use computer equipment. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection of text/data in both print and electronic forms.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Days/hours worked are dependent on the workload at the time. General availability and presence in the office is expected during regular business hours from 8am 5pm Monday-Friday. However, some flexibility is allowed. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
There is no major travel requirement for this position. However, infrequent travel may be necessary to visit remote office(s), attend conferences/industry events, etc. Attendance at our annual corporate Staff Retreat is required. This 2-3-day retreat typically takes place in Texas or Southern California. Attendance at our annual User Conference as assigned.
