Laye’s Tire Service is Hiring an Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeping Near Avon Park, FL

We are looking for a responsible and dedicated Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of bookkeeping, administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Bookkeeper/ Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, completing a variety of bookkeeping tasks, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities.

Administrative Assistant Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting Pay $14/hr - Pay depending on Experience

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Perform various clerical and administrative duties
  • Answering and routing calls
  • Maintains and manages returns, labor & warranty claims
  • Organize and manage filing system
  • Receive & reconcile invoices and statements
  • Process incoming & outgoing mail
  • Maintains accounts receivable records, and performs necessary follow-up on collections
  • Assisting with various HR tasks like onboarding, new hire orientations and filing of personnel files
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers

Administrative Assistant Requirements:

  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Excellent organization skills and capable of balancing multiple tasks at once
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Experience using general office equipment (i.e., copier, fax machine, etc.)
  • Must be flexible and willing to assist with other tasks as needed
