Lawelawe is Hiring a Remote Project Manager

Lawelawe is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support construction contract management activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, reporting, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, documenting, and other project management tasks in a clinical environment. The Project Manager will conduct supervisory functions to ensure quality and timely performance of all tasks contained within the contract performance work statement. The Project Manager shall provide substantive guidance, policy, and practices for managing and executing the terms of the contract and demonstrate a commitment for continuous improvement of internal work processes, minimizing the impact of changes on external system users and providing information security safeguards for data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in direct supervision of software development, integration, and maintenance projects.
  • Ten years’ experience in Federal IT Business.
  • CompTIA Security Certification.
  • Experience with software development related to construction management.
  • Knowledge of ITIL Incident Management.
  • Knowledge of Agile Scrum Methodology.
  • Awareness of Governance methodologies commonly used by Department of Defense organizations.
  • Experience developing executive-level briefings and presentations.
  • Must be a US citizen-verified.

  • PMP Preferred
  • Preference will be given to candidates residing in Alabama and Colorado.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Make hardware and software technical recommendations; including helping users access requirements and providing justification for equipment and services; and assisting with the planning, design, and research for any new or upgraded hardware and software systems.
  • Manage workloads, workflows, demand, and capacity management for all employee, produce monthly status report and facilitate customer in process reviews
  • Identify, obtain, and schedule resources and staff required to achieve the activities and milestones identified in project plans.
  • Utilize applicable project management tools, implement network logic and measurement methods to perform critical path and risk analyses necessary to determine forecasting delays and evaluation of alternative scenarios.
  • Conduct data and process quality assessments of planning products and prepare for assessment reviews to ensure compliance with program performance management.
  • Work with the Service Owners and Project Managers to review identified schedule and resource risks and issues across the projects, programs and enterprise.
  • Act as the liaison between the Government points-of-contact and staff to develop technical documentation for operational support
  • Developing departmental and Command level SOPs, and Desktop Procedure Manuals as required, to support the IT department gains new software and/or hardware capabilities.
  • The Contractor shall maintain and continuously update a repository accessible to the Government of all enterprise level projects, local level projects, and major deployment activates using IMIT
  • Familiar with DoD audit readiness and Risk Management Framework requirements to prepare, implement, monitor, maintain, manage, and update project plans and documentation.
  • Exercise sound business practices and methods to ensure all activities are in compliance with all corporate policies and procedures as well as ensure contract requirements are carried out in a legal and ethical manner in compliance with laws and regulations and in accordance with good corporate safety practices

  • Ability to lead a team of highly trained professionals to meet the project.
  • Must have advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server, SharePoint and other project management tools.
  • Working knowledge of PMBOK methodologies and ITIL’s Change Management methodologies.
