Law School Admission Council is Hiring a Marketing Operations Coordinator Near Newtown, PA

Overview

The Law School Admission Council is a not-for-profit organization committed to promoting quality, access, and equity in law and education worldwide by supporting individuals’ enrollment journeys and providing preeminent assessment, data, and technology services.

Summary of Position:

The Marketing Operations Coordinator will work as part of the marketing, communications, and business development team. We are searching for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, embraces challenges, and values the opportunity to make a difference. The Marketing Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing project planning and day-to-day operational support for go-to-market campaigns and other various marketing, communications, and business development projects. The ideal candidate must have exceptional organizational and communication skills. A familiarity of marketing campaign planning and tactical execution is a plus. This position will work closely with members of the marketing, communications, and business development team, and colleagues throughout the organization as we together drive exciting new growth initiatives and impact. This role follows a hybrid schedule as determined by Department needs.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Participate in cross-functional working team meetings related to new solutions development, go-to-market strategy and campaign planning, and sponsorships and events promotion.
  • Coordinate the planning, tracking, and day-to-day management of campaign tactics and other projects.
  • Organize and coordinate kick-off and check-point meetings for assigned projects, assist with agenda development, note-taking, and meeting prep/debrief.
  • Responsible for the tracking of corporate sponsorship requests from review through fulfillment of recognition benefits.
  • Develop and update campaign schedules and other project timelines; participate in team status report meetings.
  • Coordinate the planning of trade shows or other events by identifying and assembling event requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating staffing.
  • Develop and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with internal partners and external vendors to ensure marketing, communication, and business development objectives are achieved.
  • Act as an independent self-starter who can anticipate requests and potential challenges to ensure deliverables are on-time and within budget.
  • Proactively seeks education on current project planning best practices and seek opportunities to apply learning and ideas.
  • Performs other tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Competencies:

  • A minimum of 3 years of project planning and operationally-focused experience .
  • Strong project management skills; able to track and coordinate multiple projects; proactive at anticipating and troubleshooting challenges with thoughtful recommendations.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with a strong attention to details.
  • Deadline-driven, highly efficient and organized with an ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Consistently demonstrate willingness to adapt and take on new responsibilities.
  • Self-directed, motivated, and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
  • Experience with proofreading is helpful.
  • Familiarity with go-to-market campaign strategies and tactical planning is a plus.
  • Familiarity with event marketing planning is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook as integral part of day-to-day activity.

Work Environment:

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type:

This is a full-time position. Standard work week is Monday-Friday. Evening and weekend hours may be required from time to time to meet business needs.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Business, Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred or equivalent experience or training. Professional experience in a similar role desired.

Travel:

  • No travel is required of this position.
