Santa Barbara boutique family law firm seeks a legal/administrative assistant. Hours are flexible. Duties include managing day-to-day administrative tasks for a sole family law practitioner, maintaining all client files including pleading and discovery, maintaining vendor files, interfacing with clients, vendors, insurance companies, banks, CPA, and bookkeeper, answering phones, and some document preparation. Position requires making bank deposits, deliveries to attorneys’ offices, miscellaneous errands. Must have computer skills, at least two years’ office experience (legal a plus), knowledge of computer calendaring, and Word. The ideal candidate will have a professional attitude and demeanor, be organized and detail oriented and able to take instructions well from others. Opportunity for advancement.
