What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources /Benefits Coordinator position at Law firm?
Human Resources/Benefits Coordinator - Excellent position for the candidate with 2-3 years of HR generalist/benefits experience.
This position provides assistance to firm administrator by coordinating new hires and administering various employee benefit programs and overall human resources generalist duties including, but not limited to the following:
- Assisting with the development and updating of HR procedures
- Assisting with the recruiting process and the on-boarding of employees
- Coordinating with payroll with regard to benefit deductions and other payroll changes
- Work with brokers to implement new benefit plans and coordinate presentations and open enrollment.
- Assist with updating job descriptions and assist with coordinating interview schedules and work with outside vendors
- Administer and manage FMLA, L/T and S/T disability, etc.
- Update firm's policies and procedures
- Create and implement wellness programs and more!
Ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in the professional services industry. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not necessary. Candidate must have strong communication and computer skills as well as experience with Excel and HRIS knowledge
