Law Firm Carolinas is Hiring a Litigation Attorney Near Greensboro, NC

Law Firm Carolinas is seeking an associate attorney for its growing litigation practice in Greensboro. Applicants must be licensed in North Carolina. Strong written and interpersonal communication skills required including the ability to advocate for clients before the Court.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients
  • Review details of cases and develop strategies
  • Gather evidence and interview witnesses
  • Draft pleadings, discovery, briefs and other legal documents
  • Conduct pre-trial activities, including depositions and mediations
  • Handle court, agency and ADR proceedings, including motion hearings, arbitrations, and trials

Minimum Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and a member of the North Carolina Bar in good standing
  • 2 years of litigation experience
  • Effective time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex legal and business documents
  • Ability to independently manage a caseload
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others
  • Strong organizational, research, and analytical skills
  • South Carolina Licensure a plus
