Description
Laurel Crest, a life plan community, is seeking a Full-time Dining Room Supervisor to join our Dining Team. This role plays a pivotal role in ensuring our residents and visitors are met with the highest quality of service.
The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Chef and the Director of Dining Services with the coordination, seating, appearance and maintenance of the dining area and server stations, as well as, ensuring that courteous and efficient services are delivered.
Job duties include the following, but not limited to:
- Maintain proper Dining Room set up.
- Coordinate seating of residents and guests.
- Monitor appropriate sanitation program checklists in support of Dining Room cleanliness and readiness.
- Maintain proper inventory data per food and safety guidelines.
- Record meal counts, reservations and additional charges.
- Provide on-the-job training for dining room staff.
Requirements
Minimum Education, Experience and Skills:
- 2 years’ experience in hospitality and/or commercial healthcare kitchen
- One year supervisory experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- ServSafe certified is a plus
