And, in communities with greatest need, we work in collaboration to expand access to quality eye care for all.The Director, GSM, Launch Strategy and Excellence will be a part of the J&J MedTech Vision Global Strategic Marketing Team and will have responsibility for leading the commercial launch excellence strategy, project management of globally led commercial initiatives and advancing ways of working to accelerate strategy execution and cross-functional/regional engagement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLaunch Strategy Development & ExcellenceDevelop and execute strategic plans for successful product launches, ensuring efficient, effective and consistent processes.Understand stakeholder and customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform and optimize product launches.Create structure and advance governance of new product launch timing and cadence, pipeline prioritization, launch excellence (including commercialization plans and limited market release/post-launch metrics), ongoing portfolio management (including pricing, life cycle management), and integrated resource planning.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align launch strategies with overall business goals.Project ManagementProject management of commercial processes including developing strategic plans, facilitating senior leadership portfolio reviews, and creation of financial (long range financial plan, mid-term plan, business plan) and demand forecasts.Drive Operational Excellence & Process ImprovementDrive operational excellence throughout the product launch lifecycle, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices with cross-functional partnership of R&D, Supply Chain and the Regions.Develop and implement metrics and scorecards/tracking mechanisms to monitor progress and ROI of marketing initiatives (brand equity, new product launch, etc), providing insights to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.Own J&J MedTech Vision Global Strategic Marketing calendar, mapping and reviewing critical activities and deliverables to ensure team readiness and prioritization of resources against key initiatives.Team & Cross-functional CollaborationFoster teamwork, diversity, and inclusion within team, between teams and other groups. The role builds and champions a collaborative team culture and continuous team integration.Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Supply Chain, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment of shared goals and seamless execution of launch activities.Act as a liaison between different departments, facilitating smooth communication and coordination.Provide guidance and support to teams involved in launch activities, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.QualificationsMinimum of bachelor’s degree is required. MBA preferred.Minimum of 10 years relevant business experience is required.Experience managing high profile projects and/or processes is preferred.Experience in one or more of the following functions: product development, new product management, marketing, or related function is required.Strong leadership and collaboration skills are required.Product launch experience is required.Mindset for continuous improvement and implementing best practices is required.Having a strategic mindset and the ability to develop plans and roadmaps is essential.Healthcare industry experience is required.People management experience is preferred.Up to 15% business travel may be required.**********The anticipated base pay range for this position is $142,000 to $244,950.The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
