We are a growing 23 year old Managed Service Provider: we install, sell, and service computer networks, hosted telephone systems and voice/data cables to companies throughout Metro Phoenix. We enjoy taking care of our clients and learning new technologies together as a team.

Our IT Support Technicians and Engineers are responsible for handling service requests of various complexity. We are responsible for technology including: workstations, servers, printers, phone systems and firewalls. LANstar's IT Support Technicians/Engineers:

  • Support business customer's computer networks and related equipment. Many medical Clients/EMRs-especially GMED.
  • Support disaster recovery solutions: Datto
  • Support WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
  • Provide remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, and Terminal Services.
  • Monitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts and respond accordingly through service tickets.
  • Use ConnectWise Manage and Automate.
  • Assist/learn Ring Central Phone Systems and Low Voltage cabling on occasion, if you desire.
  • Use professional and friendly communication skills, especially when helping end-users.

Requirements include:

  • 3 IT support/Help Desk/Managed Service Provider experience
  • High school diploma; a clean driving record; can pass drug test
  • 3 yr experience using any ticketing system, ConnectWise preferred.

This is a full-time position with direct career path into a Network Engineer or Project Manager if you wish. We are open Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with a little after-hours work (this is IT work after all). We work as a team so being together in our office in Mesa or at a client’s office is important. (We rarely work from home.) Please apply if you take pride in helping clients and doing the right thing. The high end of salary range requires experience traveling to various customer sites within the same day and being the primary administrator of networks for multiple small/medium sized businesses while working for a Managed Services Provider.

We work as a team but you will have you own clients assigned to you, so this position has plenty of autonomy. Passing a drug test is a condition of employment.
