LSI – Market Manager (position based in Greater Chicago, IL)

Join one of the fastest growing commercial landscaping and snow/ice management companies in the country (Landscape Services, Inc. - “LSI”) and help lead the Exterior Facility Services (EFS) Division to the next level as we grow from a regional to a national player. You’ll undoubtedly grow as a person while you work with a group that has fun, works hard and always meets challenges as a team.

Opportunity: Market Manager position based in Greater Chicago, IL (Geographic territory is fluid and may include properties in IL, WI, IN, MI)

Key Objectives

• Manage the landscape management and snow/ice services for 250-400 commercial/retail client properties.
• Inspect/audit client properties on a pre-determined schedule to ensure quality service.
• Recruit, onboard, train and manage a network of highly qualified commercial landscaping and snow/ice management service partners (independent contractors) to execute the company’s work in a high-quality, timely manner.
• Identify, propose and close on the sale of out-of-scope landscape enhancement opportunities that are aligned with clients’ goals and budgets.
• Manage local client and vendor relationships.
• Manage the assigned EFS portfolio of properties effectively and efficiently to achieve company profit margins.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

• Typical week is 1.5 days managing from home office (normally Monday and Friday) with 3.5 days focused in the field.
• Typical day starts at 7:00 am and finishesbetween 5 - 6 pm; however, the schedule you create may occasionally differ from this to maximize efficiency/productivity throughout the week.
• Must be able to travel daily (locally) during the week with 2 – 3 overnight trips per month to cover remote properties.
• Able to function in a fast-pasted environment while maintaining a demeanor of professionalism and leadership.
• Position is remotely based in greater Chicago, IL

Skills and Qualifications

• Solid tenures with a successful track record of 3 years managing accounts/properties within an assigned territory.
• Landscape or facilities management experience a plus
• Skilled using MS Office Suite along with a CRM platform.
• Highly organized, proactive, strong time management skills and great customer service.
• College degree preferred but not required.
