LandOpt is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Pittsburgh, PA

Eichenlaub Inc., Eichenlaub Inc. | Premier Pittsburgh Landscaping, is a full service, design-build landscape construction and maintenance firm in the greater Pittsburgh area for over 45 years. We are looking for a Talen Acquisition Specialist who has a proven track record of success in leveraging various platforms and resources to source qualified candidates. This position includes working with the management teams to develop innovative recruitment methods to find, attract, and hire qualified candidates. We are looking for an individual that enjoys conducting phone interview and resume searches as well as networking at regional career fairs. This candidate will be adept at building relationships to maintain a strong candidate pipeline. 

The ideal candidate for this position should be eager to learn, motivated and passionate. They should have great organizational skills. They should have experience marketing creatively and sourcing strategies to attract talent for a broad range of positions. Having basic knowledge of the landscaping and/or constriction industry is a plus but not necessary. Some travel is involved to secondary and post-secondary institutions for career fairs and events. 

Candidates should be comfortable using Microsoft Office, relationship management applications and social media platforms, they must be able to work independently and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. It is critical that this induvial be organized, energetic, and possess the drive and time management necessary to develop relationships in this growing industry. 

Responsibilities: 

- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g., social platforms and professional networks)

- Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position's requirements 

- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates

- Establish staffing plan by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with production department managers to discuss needs

- Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport

- Attract applicants by placing job advertisements and using newsgroups and recruiting sites

- Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements

- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintain personal networks, and participating in professional organizations

- Lead employer branding initiatives

- Manage and promote internship and apprenticeship program

- Attend job fairs and recruitment events and organize employment open houses

Minimum Qualifications: 

- 2-4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferable within the landscaping and/or construction industry 

- A bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relatable experience 

- Proficient with Microsoft Office, relationship management applications and social media platforms 

- Ability to network and generate candidate leads 

- Driver's license required
