This position can be virtual/remote. You will be responsible for developing and improving inventory strategies to balance our supply of raw materials with our forecasted demand to meet customer service goals; working with your plants to improve production scheduling efficiencies; and leading Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to accomplish working capital reduction; aged inventory reduction; realizing open and trapped capacity; improved inventory strategies, case fill, and schedule attainment; and shelf life analysis. You will also work with transportation to improve transportation efficiencies, and with warehousing to improve space utilization. Finally you will be responsible for helping drive a data-driven decision making culture and improving current systems and tools. Salary: $90,000-105,000 salary is negotiable based on experience Experience-Education (Required): Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. 3 years experience in inventory management, production planning or related field. Systems background in MRP/DRP planning tools or customer order management systems. Competencies-Skills (Required): Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and plan daily planning activities. Ability to lead meetings and drive consensus and action plans. Solid communication skills. Quantitative skills; ability to analyze data. PowerBI experience. Ability to solve problems and make decisions in a timely manner. Ability to work well under pressure and provide follow-up with strong attention to detail.
