As a Logistics Coordinator, your focus will be to develop and execute coordinate the tactical transportation plans for manufacturing facilities or DCs. This includes inbound, interplant, direct, and outbound transportation plans for the Nutrablend network. You will be interfacing with cross-functional teams such as customer service, purchasing, warehousing, production, pricing, accounts-payable, and external carrier contacts to support operational excellence across the Nutrablend network. Responsibilities and activities include planning outbound and inbound transportation, track and trace shipments for on-time performance, leveraging transportation technology tools to improve load visibility, and facilitate internal conversations with team regarding service and carrier performance metrics. Responsibilities: Manage transportation events and enhance carrier utilization to ensure on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction Understanding freight bill payments and assisting Accounts Payable in resolution and corrective action Coordinate, direct and own decision-making processes necessary to accomplish service goals and objectives Strategically develop, recommend and implement cost savings and/or service improvement programs Create and foster strong relationships with internal and external business partners such as material resource planners, purchasing, distribution centers, manufacturing personnel, customer service representatives and carrier providers Ensure that issues are addressed quickly and professionally Identify and implement continuous process improvements by strategically developing and recommending cost savings and/or service improvement programs Education/Experience: High School Diploma/GED Ability to multi-task in high pace environment.
