Role Summary

Lambert is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to plan and lead Lambert’s Family of Companies’ (FOC) financial and information technology strategy and serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team. This role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, merger and acquisition due diligence, capital sourcing and optimizing, tax, KPI reporting, information technology and legal activities. The CFO will ensure that all FOC accounting processes, tax obligations and systems are compliant and will prepare reports for the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), President, and Leadership team, as needed.

The ideal candidate will have 10 years in accounting and financial management practices plus a minimum of 5 years of CFO or executive leadership experience.

In this role, you will impact our shared successes by...

• Managing profitability
• Working with outside tax providers on tax compliance and tax planning matters
• Providing due diligence for mergers and acquisitions
• Overseeing banking relationships to source and optimize capital
• Preparing budgets and forecasts
• Reviewing and distributing month-end financial reporting packages
• Monitoring and managing key performance indicators of the FOC businesses
• Managing outside information technology services
• Corresponding and working closely with outside legal counsel regarding legal issues
• Promoting process improvements
• Performing other duties as assigned

This is a fulll-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data
• Proficiency with accounting software, word processing, and spreadsheets.
• Solid GAAP and financial reporting technical skills.
• Tech savvy with the ability to adapt to new software, including design and implementation
• Ability to produce reports/graphs/charts/tables in Word, Excel and/or PowerPoint
• Project management
• Strong organizational skills along with effective time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer-focused and team-oriented
• High integrity and honesty
• Ability to set and manage priorities
• Self-starter, able to work with minimal direction or supervision

Experiences

• 10 years in accounting and financial management practices
• 5 years of CFO or executive leadership experience
• Agency experience, a plus
• Supporting a family business and or a start-up, preferred

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting or business
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred
• CPA certification preferred
