Lakeside Neurologic is Hiring a Clinical Program Director Near Wauchula, FL

Lakeside TLF, LLC is currently accepting resumes for the position of Clinical Program Director. Our facility provides treatment ranging from Pediatric Residential, Adult Transitional Living Facility and Behavioral Health Care. The facility treats patients with diagnosis of Traumatic Brain Injury.

The Clinical Program Director provides overall clinical direction to and supervision of treatment teams by reviewing and assisting in the development of all treatment plans and resident protocols. In addition, the Clinical Program Director will:

  • Provide clinical leadership for design and quality improvement of systems for client care; supervises Program Case Managers, Neuropsychologists, Director of Residential Services, Director of Vocational Services, Lead Teacher, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Registered Mental Health Interns, Behavior Specialists and Administrative Assistant.
  • Demonstrates competency in evaluations, treatment plans, protocols, programming of residents and complies with Code of Ethical Conduct.
  • Provides oversite of the Director of Residential Services to ensure appropriate staffing for residents and program.
  • Reviews and directs interdisciplinary treatment teams regarding all treatment plans and protocols.
  • Completes QAPI assignments as appropriate and ensures that program fulfills all assigned corporate objectives for Information and Outcomes Management.
  • Provides clinical leadership in the design and implementation of quality improvement systems that meet the standard of CARF, DCF, AHCA and DCF.
  • Ensures facilities compliance of CARF, JCAHO, AHCA & DCF guidelines and requirements as well as preparedness for CARF & JCAHO Accreditation Surveys, AHCA & DCF Licensing Surveys.
  • Establishes and implements policies and procedures to ensure appropriate clinical practices to include annual review of all policies and procedures and updates or revisions of the same.
  • Serves as the primary Emergency Management Team Member ensuring the facilities are prepared for emergencies or disasters.Required to be on duty during a predictable emergency (hurricane).
  • Participates in Marketing assignments as assigned by Chief Operating Officer.
  • Develops an active research agenda for Facility with the Chief Operating Officer.
  • Communicates effectively with residents, family members, guardians, funding sources and other stakeholders.
  • Participates in Facility Meetings (i.e. Medical Rounds, Morning Meeting, I.D.T., Risk Management, Safety Committee, Executive Meetings, etc)
  • Conducts Neuropsychology testing as well monitors interns.
  • Participates in orientation training, as well as ongoing in-services as needed.
  • Conducts monthly Supervision Meetings
  • Promotes a positive morale inspiring team members to succeed.
  • Conducts monthly staff meeting in conjunction with the Chief Operating Officer.
  • Completes all mandatory orientation training requirements and maintains yearly compliance competencies.
  • Duties as assigned by COO
  • Qualified candidates must possess a PhD or PsyD in Psychology or Behavioral Science.Experience in staff education, consultation and evaluation.Strong interpersonal, organizational skills, orientation developing systems of care and programming is required.Ability to interact with residents, family members, guardians, funders and licensing and accreditation surveyors. Must maintain a current State of Florida Psychologist license. Candidates that are eligible for licensure in the State of Florida will be considered.
  • WORKING CONDITIONS: General hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in an office setting. Must circulate to attend staffing meetings, directly observe and supervise client/staff interactions, and monitor service delivery at all hours and days.Must be available to travel for funder, family, educational or marketing meetings.Must work flexible hours, be available for on-call duties, and complete any other duties as assigned by supervisor
