WHAT YOU'LL DO:

The Project Manager is responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to assure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects. Reporting to a divisional Vice President (VP), this key member of our corporate team oversees new construction, renovation, or turn-over projects from through the critical stages of pre, mid, and post construction.

Serving as the as primary liaison contact with clients, the Project Manager ensures that projects are completed on schedule, within budget and with maximum client satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Planning, scheduling, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget.
  • Working with Teams and Superintendents to fulfill all contract deliverables. Ensuring quality of service and work meets company standards and exceeds client expectations. 
  • Developing, planning, and updating project schedules. Entering and updating information in project management programs (job status reports, projections, change orders, etc.). 
  • Ensuring a consistent flow of information including progress or issues to the VP, Corporate Office, and client.
  • Regularly visiting assigned project sites to review project status, meet with clients or subcontractors, inspect project work, and ensure that quality and safety practices are being followed.
  • Adhering to all company and client protocol, project and safety policies, accounting procedures, etc.
  • Assist in securing subcontractor partners in area markets as needed.
  • Perform other projects/duties as assigned.

YOU’LL BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE IF YOU:

  • Have significant experience (8 years or more) in project or construction management for mixed-use facility sustainment, repair, renovation, and construction.
  • Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans drawings, and specifications.
  • Have the ability to direct project work using the critical path method.
  • Have a strong understanding of project management principles including planning, execution, inspection, and cost estimation. Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
  • Have the ability to be self directed and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Have proficiency in project management software such as Co-Construct, Procore, or similar applications.
  • Have advanced proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office or similar office applications.
  • Are a true professional in dealing with diverse groups of people, senior managers, staff, community leaders, clients, and other external partners.
  • Can make appropriate, informed decisions regarding priorities and available time.
  • Have the ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with minimal guidance.
  • Have exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
  • Have the ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
  • Are able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Are able to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, weekends, holidays, and overnight travel as needed.
