PURPOSE

The Reliability Manager is responsible to develop, plan, organize maintenance strategies related to preventive maintenance, corrective and proactive maintenance and improvement plans related to maintenance equipment

Responsibilities

What you'll be doing:

  • Visible leader and unwavering support for LafargeHolcim’s safety, health, and environmental policies. Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Accountable for planning of activities related to planned shutdowns (annual/bi annual and weekly)
  • Manage and implement condition based inspection programs such as inspection, lubrication and vibration and come up with a plan to address issues that will affect operating efficiency of plant equipment
  • Manage implementation of improvement and CAPEX projects
  • Responsible for creating, implementing, and monitoring reliability based systems including preventative maintenance systems, vibration analysis and condition monitoring.
  • Create, plan, organize and execute short and long range objectives to ensure continued operational excellence of plant equipment.
  • Use systems, such as MAC, SAP, PMA, CBM, etc.,to optimize overall equipment effectiveness at the lowest sustainable cost of maintenance.
  • Support, demonstrate, and facilitate the concepts of development and involvement of employees, continuous learning and continuous improvement in a values based high performance organization
  • Accountable for providing leadership, development and coaching on individual performance to direct reports to achieve business results.
  • Safety controls are considered and implemented in all the activities conducted by preventive maintenance section
  • Lead reliability analysis to come up with appropriate PMR's and critical spare parts.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis to improve MTBF and prevent recurring failures.
  • Lead Condition Monitoring activities to capture potential equipment problems that may result to failure.
  • Lead lubrication activities to ensure equipment running at optimum condition.
  • Managing Equipment Replacement Strategies and critical input for Plant Development Plan

Qualifications

RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER JOBS:

Coordinate with Maintenance Superintendent, Electrical and Instrumentation Superintendent and Production coordinators regarding CBM findings and alignment of reliability activities with other sections

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor's/University Degree

Additional Education Preferred:

Preferred field of study: Engineering

Work Experience: 7 years

Travel Requirements: 10 – 15%

Computer and Software Skills: Windows, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Microsoft Project Management and SAP

Other: Knowledge of maintenance planning with the ability to create and implement maintenance and process systems
