Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing and managing all aspects of nursing operations within our facility. Your leadership and expertise will ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff, ensuring the highest level of care is provided to residents
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for residents
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing staff
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care provided, making necessary adjustments as needed
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to nursing practice
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimize operational efficiency
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging staff development and professional growth
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing administration or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of home health regulations, Medicare guidelines, HIPAA compliance, and resident rights
- Proficient in medical records management, documentation review, and nursing administration processes
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
