Job Overview
We are currently hiring a Tier 2 Support Engineer in our IT Department. This position will handle escalated technical issues from our end user support team. They will also assist our IT Network and Systems Managers with network, file system, active directory, and other IT tasks for our 30 office locations throughout the USA and Europe.
The IT Department at LaBella provides network, hardware, software, and overall IT and Design Tech services to the entire LaBella organization, including all LaBella companies. Successful candidates shall be trustworthy, have a positive attitude, and be self- motivated with an up-to-date skill set with the willingness to learn and continue building their knowledge.
Responsibilities

• Function as the primary escalation support engineer for our in-house End User Support team.
• Quickly handle all escalated end user support issues including but not limited to hardware repair, software reconfiguration, and network connectivity issues.
• Provide assistance with day-to-day operation of corporate IT systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve end user support and other IT processes and policies for operational efficiency and make suggestions where appropriate.
• Preserve established assets, information security, and control structures.
• Assist with implementation and coordination of new systems, policies, and procedures.
• Interact with End User Support team to assist users and technical committees with their technology planning and needs.
• Audit systems and assess their success, strengths, and weaknesses.
• Ensure that all systems and IT-related projects are managed in a fiscally responsible manner.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience with recent experience in mid-level support of Active Directory, NTFS file security, backup,
• MS 365 and other business enterprise systems preferred
• BS in Computer Science, MIS, or similar field; professional certifications in lieu of formal education
• Knowledge of Cisco and HP switches/routers configuration within a Microsoft environment.
• Experience with DHCP, DNS, Wireless, VPN, VLANs and remote site connectivity.
• Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V
• Autodesk and Deltek platform experience desirable
• Experience with VoIP telephony systems desirable
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and document complex systems
• Strong knowledge of technical and data management and governance, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems.
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
• Must be willing and able to travel
