The Regional Business Development Executive role is focused on executive level contract sales with a National focus on transitioning LabCorp’s largest and most complex partners to our Diagnostic Portfolio of products. This role will cover the whole Health Systems Operating Division directly reporting to the Head of Sales and Commercial Strategy. The Regional Business Development Executive is part of the Health Systems Leadership Team and plays a key role in driving big deals and advancing relationships with some of LabCorp’s largest and most influential partners. In this role you will act as the Subject Matter Expert both externally to the client and internally with the teams across many Divisions of LabCorp. This role will equally work to drive sales revenue, and growth objectives while aligning with the internal process to create a positive experience during a new acquisition/partnership with one of the nation’s largest IDN’s. This is a National Based role with specific focus on Kansas, Oklahoma, Michigan, and Wisconsin. The candidate can be remote but must reside within 30 minutes of a Major Metropolitan Airport. Responsibilities:
Manage book of business for assigned Divisional accounts and achieve annual revenue growth quota
Drive Executive/C-Suite level sales with value-based care networks and large physician organizations
Collaborate with internal Health Systems team leadership to advance product/program development and pilot implementations
Develop contract strategies and sales collaboration with Labcorp 's regional sales teams
Lead sales implementations of Divisional accounts with divisional Area Directors of Business Development and their core sales teams
Serve as company resource and sales expert in lab-based population analytics and value-based care programs
Frequent travel within the Central and Eastern United States
Requirements:
Master’s in Business or Healthcare and/or healthcare management preferred, Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare or related field required.
10 years' experience creating and/or building strategic sales relationships with healthcare accounts
Working knowledge of Value based Care and Population Health
Experience in and knowledge of lab/diagnostics industry
Previous direct sales experience in medical device or diagnostics
Preferred Requirements:
Experience within LabCorp
Proven ability to work within a heavily Matrix environment for sales and operations
Understanding of the IT infrastructure within the Diagnostic Lab space
Experience working in clinical setting
Experience combining clinical knowledge and healthcare operations
C-level suite sales experience
Experience in Value-Base Care Contracting or Management
